DESCRIPTION: The publishing and graphic industry have undergone tremendous change in the past few years, due to advancements in hardware and software technology. Learn the essential, as well as advanced design techniques, to get you comfortable using the most popular versions of the major graphic programs in the industry today.

OBJECTIVES: By finishing this course you will be able to:

Have a powerful and clear working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

Build up a strong understanding of how Adobe Illustrator works by doing practical projects.

Apply the learned QuarkXpress skills.

Design, create and evaluate professional Web Sites using Dreamweaver.

Master the key concepts and techniques of Adobe InDesign, to create and prepare documents, brochures, and books for commercial printing.

Design and produce professional quality documents using Microsoft Publisher.
